When do you need to use Send to menu in your Windows 7? I think you use it for manage many file from your Windows explorer. Today I want to move any file data from my external hard drive to my laptop drive and open two windows explorer for copy and paste or access external drive for copy and then access my laptop drive then go back and foward and back again make it annoying.
To make it faster and efficient, I just use Send to menu but I need to customize it first so I will have Send to my laptop drive menu from Windows Explorer. Here in this post I will share how to customize Windows 7 Send to Menu and this is the way:
1. Open your Windows Explorer.
2. Copy “%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo” and paste it in your Windows Explorer to access Send to folder.
3. You will see a few shortcut that suitable with your Send to menu.
4. To add new menu just right click on main window and dig New then click Shortcut.
5. Click Browse to locate drive and folder then click OK.
6. Click Next to continue and just leave default name to make you easy to remember where the location.
7. Click Finish to create a shortcut.
8. To prove it access any file that you want to move and right click on it so you will see new Send to menu.
Sometime maybe you don’t need to use it anymore and to delete it just access Send to folder at the step 2 above and delete it as you delete file. Enjoy it!
